Frequently asked Questions
Can an outdoor kitchen be used outside?
All outdoor kitchens can be placed outside, but not all outdoor kitchens are resistant to all weather conditions. Our outdoor kitchens are made of high-quality materials, so you can leave the outdoor kitchen outside all year round with peace of mind. A sink with tap can also be left outside all year round.
When should I turn off the tap?
The tap must be turned off when frost occurs. Let the tap run completely empty, so that there is no water left in the tap itself and the hose. Cover the tap with a plastic cover or another type of cover.
Why an outdoor kitchen with sink and tap?
The convenience of a sink with tap in your outdoor kitchen is unparalleled. By adding this essential element, you will enjoy maximum convenience. Whether you need a glass of fresh water, want to wash your hands, or quickly do the dishes, a sink with tap in your outdoor kitchen is always available when you need it.
What colors are available?
Stainless steel (modern), Gun Metal (bold anthracite metallic) and Copper (chic). All three finished with a durable PVD coating.
Can the sink be left outside all year round?
Yes. PVD-coated stainless steel is resistant to all weather conditions. In freezing temperatures, the tap must be completely shut off and the water drained from the tap, otherwise it will freeze from the inside out and may cause damage. A cover over the tap provides extra protection and is essential if the tap is not sheltered.
How do I connect an outdoor tap to the water supply?
Plug & play: supplied as standard with all connectors. The pre-installed drain and connection hoses make installation simple. However, a water connection in the garden is required; this can be arranged by a plumber or landscaper.
Is there any space left under the sink?
Yes. The space-saving trap with compression fitting can be rotated towards the back or downwards, ensuring you still have plenty of storage space under the sink.
Does the sink fit in all Roostr models?
Yes. Rubix, Allure, and Wave all three support colored sinks. For Allure and Wave, you choose the position in the worktop; with Rubix, these are in fixed locations within the standard worktop sizes.
How much does a sink and faucet cost?
This depends on the color and the chosen Roostr setup. In the 3D-configurator you can see the exact price breakdown. Would you prefer to visit us? Then we can discuss it in the studio.
